Random Teapots
I had a question the other day about the types of tea sets common in Taiwan. Here are some photos I took at a couple of teashops lately that provide good examples. Some people go for basic sets with a pot and cups, others like full matching sets, and hard-core fans usually by separate components to mix and match. There really is a huge variety to choose from in any price range or for any tea.

The sets you see in this post are between US$30 - US$100, but not all of them are Yi Hsing. The thing with Yi Hsing is, there are always differing grades of clay, and differing levels of craftsmanship, so some Yi Hsing pots are very cheap ($20), but don’t brew very good tea. If you email me at http://www.asktheteaguy.com, we can discuss your specific situation and budget, and custom build a set that’s right for you.
